Who is the TFC?

The TFC has had quite the history over its 15 years. The Teen Film Challenge started as an event under a non-profit called The Underground, a music venue with a focus on faith. The Underground then shifted more to film becoming the Underground Academy of Cinematic Arts, which then became just the Academy of Cinematic Arts. The ACA closed in January of 2026, leaving the future of the TFC in limbo. After some discussion and continued interest in it's continuation, the future of the competition was gifted to a team of former competitors and a former ACA employee who refused to see it disappear. We are so incredibly excited for this new beginning and can't wait to see what you make!
